Workouts On The Move
I’m just about to go on holidays with little likelihood of getting to the gym for the next two weeks. For me this is the perfect time to focus on short bodyweight training sessions. Varieties of push-ups, pull-ups and squats or lunges will give me a good workout for both my muscular and cardiovascular system without the need for a gym. If I did want to take some equipment with me, I would probably take a skipping rope.
If you are in a similar situation, whether it is for work or leisure, go with the flow. It may be a great time for you to take a week off weight training and it is important to remember that you have plenty of exercise options that do not require the use of a gym or a lot of time. Have fun.
