What is Functional Training
When many people think about functional training, they think about training on unstable surfaces, using Swiss balls, BOSU and other strange equipment. On the other hand functional training can be defined simply as any training that improves your ability to function better in life and perform better in competition. Given this definition, you should ask yourself or your trainer what crossover the exercises that you are currently doing have in the real world.
