Do You Like Training?

Feb 28, 2008 @ 06:08 pm by wayne

One of the rules in “The New Rules of Lifting” by Lou Schuler and Alwyn Cosgrove is to do something you like. If you are doing an activity that you like, you will be much more likely to continue to do it. On the other hand, if you are doing something you don’t like, how long will it be before you stop doing it?

Please don’t think that this gives you an out from doing a specific type of training e.g. resistance training. What it does mean is you have to find a training regime that you like. Your personal trainer or gym instructor could help you out in this case.

  1. I agree with you. Doing what we like will improve our motivation of doing it. I have a similar article in my blog, will appreciate if you can stop and read it : http://fandalovesexercise.blogspot.com/2008/03/first-thing-first-how-to-make-your.html
