Exercise Workshop - Lunges
Lunges are a great basic exercise that hit the legs and glutes. When you are learning the movement, just use your bodyweight.
Set up
Hold dumbbells comfortably in your hands or rest a bar just above shoulder blades.
Stand upright with legs shoulder width apart.
Technique
Step comfortably forward on one leg.
Lower the body so that the thigh of the front leg and shin of the back leg are parallel to the ground.
Step back and repeat on the other leg.
