Some interesting research suggests that regular sun exposure (this doesn’t mean sunburn) has a protective effect in relation to some internal cancers. This does not mean that the risk of skin cancer should not be considered, just that the potential benefits of sun exposure appears to outweigh the risks.

Research has confirmed yet another health risk associated with being obese – obese people are 20 per cent more likely to contract bowel cancer.
One of the authors of the report Dr Rachel Huxley, said that maintaining low bodyfat is the most important factor for reducing cancer risk. So keep training hard and keep off that extra weight.
